Thoughts?

I thought the first episode was very good [NO! Not just that scene and anyway, Lindsay Duncan is nicer!] and bodes well. Don't want to give too much detail for those who missed the first episode and are waiting to watch on video/dvd or the repeat on Sunday evening.

With Bleak House [not completely caught up yet] and a couple of promising looking programmes starting next week, it looks like 3-4 hours of decent viewing on BBC over the next few weeks.

Rome - More smut from the BBC. It's Caligula meets Gladiator with a script from Eastenders!

However I will probably continue to watch it anyway for pure historical interest! I never realised that Roman women were into designer styled and trimmed muff fluff though!
