Hi all
Does anybody know where I can get the soundtrack or video from a seventies TV play called “Orpheus in the Underground”? It was a musical based on the classical “Orpheus in the Underworld” and was about two buskers, a young man and women, on the London underground. I actually taped the music when the play was repeated a year later by placing a microphone against the TV speaker. Needless to say, the quality is not good (though I still listen to it to this day) and I would love, thirty years after the event to hear the songs again in their full glory. Any ideas? Can't help with the soundtrack, I'm afraid, but I seem to remember the late John Wells was involved in some way though there is no mention of it in his IMDB entry. |
