You're quite right that seatbelts haven't prevented accidents -they've reduced fatalities and severe injuries. Re: the evidence that speed cameras haven't reduced accidents see: http://www.safespeed.org.uk/effects.html

Thought provoking don't you think. These stats are based on Gov't figures.

PS - not expecting to change anyone's view of JC - merely highlight that he has some sane fans out there who don't drive Astras with big exhausts!! I do agree that the latest Top Gear style isn't as good as when Tiff and Quentin WIlson etc were on.

Agreed lads - he is an obnoxious sod! Perhaps that's how he got on in his career!
his lead-footed attitude to driving ludicrous thirsty motors is a real lesson in road safety. Sadly, there a lot of JKs out there!
