Thank God for my HUGE stash of Brit programs on DVD, a multi system VCR / DVD and a brother who sends regular supplies of Brit DVD movies and TV with the ads edited out |

The main gripe I have though is with pay television here. Initially promoted as having multi choice programming without the commercials, I have noticed over the years how more and more commercials are creeping into the schedules. We already pay top dollar for pay programs yet are told by the channels that without commercials we would be paying even more for the service. It's a cop out and nothing more than major profiteering. Apart from the normal commercials there is nothing worse than having a decent program interupted by the channels just so they can show a promo for another program. Dave. |
