I'm surprised this programme hasn't been mentioned yet. Stunning photography matched by the uncomparable Sir David Attenborough and his god like commentary. From the trailers it looked like it was mainly CGI fakery so I gave it a miss.
I prefer the real photography of his other series.

No CGI,Steve - in fact ten minutes at the end is dedicated to show how it is filmed.

Very misleading trailers in that case - gosh, there's something unusual.

It's full of air-to-ground photography using a gyro-mounted camera on a helicopter..... and superb.

This is a fantastic series. The work that must have gone into making this is mind blowing. There have been moment in the first two programmes where my mouth was just wide open in amazement. The Great White hunting the seal shots in the first episode are already iconic. But for me it was the mythical snow leopard that has stolen the show thus far. The sequence of it hunting a mountain goat down a shear cliff face was breath taking.

I'll 'av 'arf
