Frank Skinner wrote/starred in this short television comedy series that lasted all of one season in 1992.
The series was about a unemployed bloke living in Smethwick, West Midlands. Frank Skinner's character was half of a pub duo called Blue Heaven. Location shooting took place in and around Oldbury and Smethwick.
The series also starred Paula Wilcox ('Man About The House') as Frank's mother.
To my knowledge this series has never been shown here in Australia.
It interests me because, like Frank Skinner, I was also brought up as a child in the Smethwick area.
I have also been told by people that saw the series that is was very good.
Does anyone on the forum remember seeing this series?
More importantly, are there any copies of the series still available anywhere?
