Regardless of David Jason, the dramatic ending was just so weak.

Also he was often seen wearing a fleece jacket - I'm certain fleece technology wasn't invented until the early 90s!

I think we have all missed the point here, it was a golden fleece covered in dirt and grease. The crew were trapped in a cooking range, having taken the fleece from a lamb which was being roasted. the whole two episodes were telling of the search for an escape route from the oven.

Hence we have Jason and the Aganauts.

Is that the time, I must be going!
