It doesn't actually look too bad..I'm prepared to give it a chance.

I was pleasantly surprised by The Office (An American Workplace).

They seemed to have kept most of the original features that work.

I think it might be the natural brit aversion to schmaltz that worries people.

The production values are obviously going to be better - but I think they've missed a trick there - I think the slightly ropey production values were one of the components that made it work here..

I like Colm Meaney as Gene Hunt - good choice!

Default Life on Mars

Hi, I'm here in Canada and we are just getting into this tv program. Can someone tell me....does Sam die and how or how does he get back to where he came from? We have also got an episode called "Ashes to Ashes" - which is a sequel to Life on Mars but features a woman DI and according to her Sam is dead - what happened to Sam? Can someone enlighten me? Thanks

I can't for the life of me think why you want to know so soon .... there are two series of this programme to enjoy!
