For all you nostalgic people, click on the following link below.

Maigret Films & TV

Anybody else remember the original television drama series Maigret starring the late great Rupert Davies.

It would be an excellent idea if this series came out on dvd. I am currently in the middle of collating signatures together to try and get this classic series available to buy in HMV.

If you haven't as of yet signed the petition, then please do so below.

Bring the complete Series 1-4 and the Special (a total of 53 episodes) of the original television drama series Maigret, starring the late great Rupert Davies 1960-1963, 1969 out on dvd. Petition

good idea I have just signed your petition, I am fed up with the BEEB sitting on archive material that we have paid for why cant they just get of there back***sds and release this stuff, I have only one tatty episode of this program on vhs I would love to see more episodes again.

Hello, Roy,

Thanks for all your efforts to get some of the old, great series like Maigret rereleased. If they ever release the Davies version, I'd also love to see Lino Ventura's portrayal of Maigret.
