Does anyone remember Fallen Hero,about a Welsh rugby player past his prime?Den Henley,I believed,played the titular character.

Yes, I remember this one with Del Henney as the former rugby player and Wanda Ventham. I watched it as a kid, but was always disappointed that there wasn't much actual rugby in it.

This probably means I was a bit young to appreciate it!

Del Henney was very good in this, as he was in Straw Dogs

Default I was in this.

I played a rugby player in this programme. It involved some horribly gruelling training sessions at a Manchester rugby club (as it was produced by Granada). When we filmed there were two actors and 28 real rugby players on the pitch. Tough!

I asked him to look at the body. That's who he is.
