Doc Martin's surgery transferred to a local MP's surgery in the style of Gordon Brown?

I'm a Doc Martin addict and enjoying the new series currently being shown in Oz. I do have some gripes though....

I've always found Louisa to be a rather annoying character and Caroline Catz's badly-done west country accent doesn't help at all, but Ian McNiece's character is a real pain in the neck. I could do without him altogether!

The receptionists Doc Martin hires always have the same characteristics - recalcitrant and self-absorbed and in need of a good spanking.

I should warn everybody that young Shirl is an Aussie and is almost certainly attempting to trap an unsuspecting Pommie bloke into an unfortunate admission.....

I could make an interesting programme/series about Port Isaac and its 'seedy underworld'. Looks pretty on the outside.

    Frame.

After the "rogering" on the kitchen table, perhaps a "spanking" might be a natural progression for the programme's erotic agenda (if it's supposed to have one!)?
