Can anyone recall a TV series by this name? I found it on the agency-provided filmography of an actor, and yet a Google search turns up no matches at all. The agency says it was BBC. Would have been in the 80s I think. Does this ring a bell for anyone? Any idea who was in it, what is was about?

There was a documentary on the promotion (Which flopped) of the newly created Lymeswold cheese around then, but I don't recall a drama....perhaps it was a voiceover or narration?? Failing an answer here, try a forum site called The Mausoleum Club, they are the telly experts...

I'll try some google searching on documentary and lymeswold and see what that turns up and thanks for the heads up on what to try if that doesn't work. Appreciate your help.

    Two years later....

I co-wrote Blood and Lymeswold as a 30 min stand-alone training film for BBC at Elstree. It was a present day (1980's) domestic comedy played out on a couple of sets and an exterior. It was shot there, with little known actors, to be used for training sit-com directors. It was definitely not for broadcast, or was it broadcast.

I can only think one of the actors put it on their CV, and it somehow found its way onto the indexes from there. Hope this solves the mystery!

    Best wishes

The hit BBC2 show Blood on the Carpet, which lifts the lid on senior corporate bust-ups, has been suspended from the schedules.

Nick Mirsky, who has produced both series of the critically acclaimed documentary, said "there probably won't be another run".

"We've trawled the last decade for the best stories and I think the ground needs to be left fallow for a while.

"It's also quite hard to gain access for these shows," Mr Mirsky added.

It took eight months to persuade ex-BBC chief Matthew Bannister to take part in Walking with Disc Jockeys.

Yes, one of the actors has it on his CV. He's not little known any more. Any chance of it being put on YouTube or something if it as no commercial value?
In any case, I'm pleased the mystery got solved and wondering how I missed seeing that for 3 years! thanks

I would be interested, as ever, in seeing this if it exists....
