Can anyone suggest any late tv series or movies with late victorian scenes and horse drawn vehicles in? Similar to Sherlock Holmes.

Hi.
As Batman has said, Cribb would interest you and Jack the ripper (Michael Caine version) is a good one for that. I have also seen them in a lot of David Copperfield dramatizations.
And of course the Dracula Hammer horrors always have a Victorian coach in them as the coach man refuses to take his party any further and his horses flee like old Nik himself

They're for sale via Amazon Marketplace, £18 is quite a good price for the complete series ....

Is The Rivals Of Sherlock Holmes as good as Cribb or Sherlock Holmes.
Bramwell fits the bill as well.

Not as good as Holmes or Cribb IMHO .... but with a different lead character each week it is always interesting and worth watching.

I used to love Sergeant Cork when I was a child an excellent series- thank you for reminding us of it. I wonder if you can get it on dvd?

I was wondering the same thing about Sergeant Cork being on dvd as I would love a copy but have not seen it anywhere.
There was also "The Duchess Of Duke Street" which was a popular series in the late 70s, which had many a horse drawn carriage as it was set in a Victorian/Edwardian hotel.
In the 90s there was the "House of Elliot" which was set in the 1920s and was devastatingly parodied by French and Saunders as "House of Idiot" with a repeated joke of cutting back to the outside street scene where the self same Man on a Pennyfarthing bicycle would always be riding past. The memory of this ruined the credibility of many an "authentic" drama for years afterwards.
