Which episode was that Nathalie? If you don't know the title can you remember who was in it? It sounds good.

2 oddities in last night's new episode of Midsomer Murders.
1. Didn't we see Cully getting married in a recent episode and ostensibly leaving the cast? And if she was needed in last night's show, where was the husband?
2. I know why the murderer killed his first victim but why did he kill the character who ran the ghost tours played by Danny Webb?
He killed the character who ran the ghost tours because he thought that he had witnessed the first murder and could identify him. The oddest thing about last night's episode was that there were only two murders! We usually get a murder just before each commercial break.
I would have thought the murderer would have held back from his second murder once he realised he wasn't alone - and tried again later.
Still, we did get a real ghost.
I watched it last night, my wife is an avid fan, was that June Whitfield's daughter running the B&B where the ghost tours man lodged? She was rather attractive I must say
Yes, that WAS Suzy Aitchison who is June's daughter.Originally Posted by wadey

I agree about the sparcity of murders...and also Dave's point about being seen.

Oops sorry, Dame Starry, we should have spoken about this with the Spoiler selected....Originally Posted by Dame Starry

Wait a bit, Dame Starry. You still don't know who did the murders - or why the first murder was committed.
Good to see Tony Selby - as the pub landlord.
A cracking good episode. Danny Webb was great as the ghost tour guide, so wolfish amongst the ladies he would have given Terry-Thomas and Nicholas Phipps a run for their money in the bounder stakes.![]()
Saw Laura Howard (Cally) last night at the Stephen Joseph Theatre in the new Alan Ayckbourn play Life of Riley. She was superb (the best I have ever seen her) in a funny and very moving play with some music from Pink Floyd. Great stuff and highly recommended.
Recorded the latest MM (which she is in) and will watch it later on.

I have to admit there was a tear in the eye at the end of tonight's final John Nettles episode of MM.
Good episode with a strong cast and Neil Dudgeon, the new Barnaby, coming in at the end.
One query, though. Sophie Dix was supposed to be in the show according to the cast at IMDB and the Radio Times but I confess I didn't see her and I'm a fan of hers. She played Janet Smith. Did anybody spot her and, if so, where in the episode did she come in??
End of the road for capital Cee Cully
One of those very English series that is quite awful---ly good for some reason with a better formula than paracetamol.
I can't see the programme lasting without Nettles. For all the criticisms of his blandness as an actor I think he was one of the reasons MM worked.
Saw Cully in the new Alan Ayckbourn play (The Life Of Riley) at Scarborough last year - she was superb.
