Being Human - Lenora Crichlow

I just finished watching this excellent series. Particularly enjoyable as the house was just along from where I used to live.



The Actress - Lenora Crichlow - looked so familiar. I've been in Canada since 2004 and the only thing I could have seen her in, going by IMDB, is Doctor Who.



But she seems familiar from something further back than that and perhaps something more than just her part in Doctor Who.



So I wonder if there's another actress who not only looks like her but sounds like her too. Any ideas anyone?

I think what I recall her from is Prime Suspect, but that was 2006, so obviously not what you've seen.



She does very much remind me of Debbie Bishop (an actress from the 80's) who was in Widows 2.



I thought this series was superb.
