Hi - I am hoping this is the right place to post this question. A few years ago (early 90s?) I can remember a TV series which I thought was called Best of British. It would show clips of all the great British films. I can remember Henry V was definitely in the opening credits. Anyway it had the most beautiful (classical) music theme which I am trying to track down. The problem is the I am not even sure that that is what the title was and if it was that it is so generic Google is proving a nightmare.
Any light shedders would be much appreciated.
Kind regards and thanks in advance.

oh thank you so much. That's great news. I knew I had come to the right place.
I will now track the music down :)
Best regards.![]()

Done by Robert and Ashley Sidaway IIRC - a similar format was done for THE WORLD OF HAMMER, then nothing else thereafter...

Thanks again everyone.
This is an interesting series, but because it only has access to the RANK film library, it is highly partial and selective....and there are a few factual errors in the commentary (i.e. LONDON TOWN (1946) was not filmed at Pinewood as John Mills says, but at 'Sound City Shepperton' ....)
