red shoes???

A man is sat on a bench, in a state of confusion and a woman sits next to him and starts talking. Mid conversation she points out a guy crossing the street by saying 'nice shoes'. Minutes later he gets run over and the man on the bench says you knew that wa sgoing to happen, why didn;t you warn him.



I CANNOT remember the film!!

Sounds very similar to an episode of "Lost". There is a flashback sequence and a woman is at a street vendor when she sees a man in red shoes who dies. The guy next to her does say to her "you knew that would happen". The only difference is that the guy has scaffold fall on him as opposed to being run over?
