Trying to find this film...

Hi guys,

I'll try and give as much detail as I can; brilliant film, but damned if I can remember its name or any of the actors.

Futuristic film, set in a somewhat dystopian seeming age.

There are two main rival companies and they're hellbent on getting one over the other.

There is also a rebel cell operated by an unknown man.

The two companies try to get one over on each other by stealing their secrets, production details etc.

The way they do this is by taking one of their own men and mind wiping them, then sending them to be recruited by the other firm. Once inside, they can then act as a spy.

From here on in it's a description of the end of the film. If this isn't ringing bells so far I suggest not reading it and waiting in hope that someone knows the name!

This rebel guy, although you don't realise it's him at the start, wants to take both companies down. He does this by mind wiping himself and going for a job with the first company.

They accept him in and then send him as a spy to the other company.

Eventually he regains his memory and carries out his mission with the aid of a girl he doesn't know. He goes to a location in the desert where an elevator shaft comes out of the ground giving access to the main data storage facility where he manges to break in and steal the information he was after.

End of the film and it's him and his girl on a boat. She asks him what was so important to go through all that, he shows her what's on the laptop he's looking at; it's a database file of her, with her pictuer, and the words 'Eliminate' printed over the top. He smiles, takes the disc out and chucks it in the ocean,

That's a fairly crap description, but hopefully the end will ring bells as it surprised me as well.

Any help greatly appreciated, I am starting to go crazy trying to figure this out!
