Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush perhaps ?
It's driving me crazy, it's been shown twice on TCM, Sept to Nov. 2010. He's somewhat
similar to George Lazenby, but more chin, I can't quite place her, a brunette; sort of a
off-beat comedy {in color} He has a white sports car, and eventually she takes him to meet her parents. I recognize the father, making gin and tonics, and the mother, but
they are obscure character actors! One scene, they are in bed, and she mentions marriage, there's an audible "gulp". I didn't want to watch more, since I always come in
the middle. So it's all I know.
Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush perhaps ?
Sorry no, I know Berry Evens, from Doctor in the House series. He's much taller, and some-what Germatic looking, dark hair. It could be some-what of a spy, love tale story. And It's not "Licenced to Kill" either.
Licensed to Kill With Tom Adams as Charles Vine? The Second Best Secret Agent in the Whole Wide World from 1965?
No, it's not Licensed to Kill! But I thought I mentioned that? Think of an off-beat love-comedy, Bond
want-to-be, bank teller in real life.
There were quite a few 'Bond spinoffs' in the 1960's well beyond the Charles Vine/Dr. Jason Love counterparts too! Thinking of OSS 117 for example but that was a specifically French thingy.
The Liquidator with Rod Taylor?
I wish you were right, but I would have recognized Rod Taylor.
If you type James Bond spoof into the keywords section of imdb search it comes up with 154 titles, it could be one of those.
I tried, but nothing, I think he's more of a playboy type than spy.
