    Hi

A few years ago I saw on the Icelandic TV a film about a group of young men from Ireland. They went to London and started to work at a garage. I think that the Pouges had some songs in the film. They lived a normal live and one of them got int a relationship with an English girl. The film ends when they disappear and at the end of the film some bombs go off.
I would rely like to find out more about this fil I think it was shown about the year 2000.

I'm pretty positive that this is "A Man You Don't Meet Every Day" a one-off TV play from the nineties - A Man You Don't Meet Every Day (1994) - IMDb

Well done Sgt Dudfoot...... Ive never seen it but it sounds interesting...

The Pogues actually covered an Old Irish Traditional song called "I'm a Man You Don't Meet Everyday"

I don't know the film but it reminded me of when i went to Ireland.
I needed petrol so went to fill up and a guy said to me "I must warn you that this is an I.R.A service station."
I told him "Okay, just blow up the tyres"
