The first one sounds like The System

Pink String and Sealing Wax (1945)
we had the pleasure of staying at the grand in brighton over the weekend thanks to our children, it was a ruby wedding gift from them, anyway while laying in bed a couple of film clips went through my mind, wonder of anyone can name them, been driveing me nuts, first is a real poser i think, only clip i remember is a beach? photograher (bit of a lad) gets a holidaymakeing girl back to his flat, Oliver Reed comes to mind but not sure,
second one should be easier for you guys but i cannot think of the fils tital, it's about a brighton pub run by a miserable old sod who has a young wife (Googie Withers) who is desperate to get rid of him, she plays on the affections of a besotted young man (Gordon Jackson) and persuades him to nick some poison from ihs dad's chemists shop, (played by the welsh guy that was in halfway house,
any idea's? and are these films avalable to buy (i can look when i find out the titals think the second one has "arsnic" in the tital, thanks,![]()

Tip of the day [1] - Look up Googie Withers on IMDB. Down at the bottom is a link named Credited With. Click on that and you can find out how many films she made with Gordon Jackson (or with anyone else). With this useful skill mastered, you can come and join us on the quiz threads
