I can only think of The Rebel, starring Tony Hancock.

I am looking for a film I saw the beginning of a while ago but didn't catch the rest of it.
It was a British film, fairly old (I am guessing pre-80s) and is a comedy about a British man who travels to France (I'm fair certain it was France) in following his dream of becoming an artist. Some more specific details about the film are that he takes a large sculpture of his on the train - whereby the head gets knocked-off while it is going through a tunnel.
Sorry if it seems rather vague.

Yes, definitely The Rebel. Some good moments in this film.
hI,
I agree. Must be Tony Hancock in THE REBEL. Made in the early 1960's.
Alan French.
Ah yes, The Rebel. It's a good film and a lot of fun if you get to see the whole thing SomeFella![]()
