Can't remember this film where the family come to a house and their deceased relative reads his will out on a video. I think it was a comedy-horror in the style of "What a Carve Up". I just can't remember the title or who was in it.

Sounds like Laughter in Paradise (1951) - IMDb where Hugh Griffith reads his will on cine film.

For a video version it would be David Langton in LAST VIDEO AND TESTAMENT, an episode from the Hammer House of Mystery & Suspense TV series - a straight thriller.

Think I found it - "Some will, some won't." with Ronnie Corbett among others, and there was also "Laughter in paradise" with Alastair Sim.

Definitely Some Will, Some Won't - the part was played by ol' man Steptoe Wilfrid Brambell himself.
