A b&w western where the lead character seems to be able to shoot anyone even when not looking. One scene has him tied to a wagon wheel but still manages to shoot a rifle somehow.

Could you perchance be thinking of Bob Hope in "Son of Paleface" (not b&w unless you saw it on a very old tv set.) where he is tied to a barbers chair and spinning round but still manages to shoot an indian with his rifle through the ceiling.

    Hi,
In addition to what has been said. I cannot recall the full details, but there are three Bob Hope westerns. One has been mentioned, the other is the prequal ''Paleface'' and a film called ''Alias Jesse James''. There are some comical shootings in that. But they are in colour. However, as I write, I have a feeling there might be something like this in the film ''My Chickadee'' with W. C. Fields and Mae West. But I could be wrong.

    Alan French.

I think I must bow to Batman on this one, and I think the rifle shooting bit comes at the climax. Thwarted on another Western film question !!!!!!!
