I need some help identifing a british show.

* It's not Widows or any similar sequel, but exactly like it.

- It aired around 1998
- English, present day setting
- Revolved around 4 woman who either robbed a bank or illegally came into money and everything goes downhill from there.
- ITV or BBC
- Drama

Any help would be appreciated.

Can't quite pluck the title out of the air but if it is the drama I'm thinking of I can put a little more flesh on the bones. Seem to recall Pauline Quirk starring. Group of women who clean in a bank clearing house where they destroy old money that is taken out of circulation. She comes up with a plan to get around the security by swapping black and white locks for the money cages and taking money out before it is destroyed. Eventually they have stolen so much they have to hide it all over their houses. Can't be of more help

I don't recall the title, but this was based on a true story. It concerned some women who worked at the Bank of England printing works in Loughton, Essex.

Bank notes are transported there to be destroyed, but these women managed, over a long period of time, to smuggle huge quantities of notes out of the building in their underwear ! As no record was kept of exactly what had been burnt, the police were never able to determine exactly how much had been nicked (as it were ... )
