Default Unanswered: The Great Toadstool Poisoning Mystery
Hi Everyone,
It's a long shot but can anyone help me identify a film I saw in the early 1960's in which a woman attempts to poison her husband by serving him up toadstools instead of mushrooms?
I was just a kid at the time and my mum took me to see some epic or other at the local flea-pit and this film was the B-movie that preceded it.
I assume it was a British production as, in my minds ear at least, I seem to remember the female lead, and would-be murderess, had a voice akin to Celia Johnson.

Eastwood got the poisoned mushrooms in The Beguiled, but that wouldn't be it I guess.
