Default Unanswered: Crusades drama ?

Anyone remember a kids action drama on TV in the mid-late 60`s about a group of knights in the Holy land. Think it was foreign, dubbed, French maybe. Had some good title music

Well it's unlikely to have been Richard the Lionheart that was shown on BBC2 last night. That was most un-memorable

Could it be "DESERT CRUSADER" it's UK title - shown after Blue Peter in early 70s.
French title : THIBAUD

CD soundtrack seems to be available too

Default but there definitely was...

a series called "the crusaders" or "the crusades" or something very similar, and it would have been late 60's, early 70's. I was at school and remember the history teacher urging us to watch it.
