This sounds like the Ian Carmichael vehicle THE BIG MONEY, where he played the hopeless son of a family of career criminals. Circa 1961 it was a Rank Organisation picture and was initially shelved after (I think) the head of production saw the finished film and deemed it too awful to be released. For many years it remained forgotten, but has had a couple of TV screenings in recent years... Smudge |

Yes, definitely 'Big Money' 1956. It has a very good cast Ian Carmichael, James Hayter, Kathleen Harrison, Belinda Lee, but in spite of this it a bit hard going. One or two good moments, particularly where he's dancing with all the loose change in his pockets.
