Riight, I feel sure someone will know the title of this British TV thriller/drama. It was broadcast in the early 1990's, my guess is between 1991-1994. I can remember it quite vividly, dispite me being only a slip of a lad back then.

The Plot:

A very simple plot. Middle aged woman but possibly older, lives alone in an old victorian style house. She starts to receive odd phone calls whereby she answers and the caller hangs up. I think she receives a bizarre letter too although this could be complete and utter cobblers. She starts to become very paranoid and fears leaving the house. She curtain twitches alot, although there is obviously nobody around outside. Anyway, the drama reaches its climax by revealing that the 'menace' is actually on the ceiling of one of her very high ceiling victorian bedrooms. He leaps down and I believe it ends with her screaming.

As I say, this isn't really old, you're only looking at 15 or 16 years old. Can anyone help?

Oh well, at least I didn't imagine it. Its funny you know, I've asked this same question in the past on other boards and nobody seems to remember it. Odd!
