I would be grateful if someone could put me out of misery !

Many years ago I would think late 70s early 80s BBC2 shaows a British film in a late night slot. MY memories of it are :

It was set either late 60s early 70s ( swinging London era ) nad revolves aroung a Guards regiment ( I think ) and it was a comedy/satire.

Any help appreciated.
