Fairly sure this was a British production, although I believe William Shatner played the lead role so it might have been American. It was in colour and I reckon it was made between 1965-1970 although I can't see anything on IMDB that it might be. It was very corny but it was great to see the now archaic technology of the 1960's.

Ring any bells?

American TV movie, screenwriter was British, David Ambose, other than that no real connection to Brit Movies.
