I'm looking for a film I saw it on channel 4 ages ago and I can't remember the name of it.

The film is about I think a murder in a hospital and a police man come to the hospital to investigate. I think it's set during the war and it finishes with the policeman solving the crime in the operation theatre but when he does the criminal tries to kill themselves with an injection. The murder was committed by switching the gas or something.

The films black and white if that's any help.

Thanks for any help.

Default Green For Danger

Green For Danger is one of my favourite British mystery-thrillers - with a superb cast - wonderful performances by the brilliant Alistair Sim and the enchanting Sally Gray

Available on Region 2 DVD from Play.com £7-99 delivered.

The first feature film produced at Pinewood after the second world war and the 'demobbing' of the studio, which had been largely occupied by government departments (including the Crown film unit).

My friend Lawrie was brought in as a 3rd AD to fill in for someone, and got signed pictures of all the cast. This was quite a big deal, as Alistair Sim had a rule about never signing autographs.
