Default Unanswered: Man Receives letters..

I haven't actually seen this particular drama, somebody has it on their tradelist, I know this because It caught my eye and I searched for the synopsis on IMDB. It sounded interesting but I didn't bookmark the link and I've forgot the damn title of it now.

Okies, this is the plot, does it ring any bells?

PLOT

Man receives letters from a woman who was thought to have died years before.

Is it the 1948 Max Ophuls film: Letter from an Unknown Woman - Joan Fontaine and Louis Jourdan?
