Default Tales from the Crypt *solved*

Im to sure what the other stories are on this one but it was a film with about 3/4 short stories a bit like from beyond the grave the one story i remember is about a woman who wishes for her husband to live again and he is in a coffin and you see him waking in agony because he had been filled with embalming fluid so she wishes him dead again but she cant because she already wished him to live its about mid 70's i think.

Live each day to the full because one day it will be your last.

Keep an eye out for it on the beeb Carmel, it now usually gets shown at least once a year (last time was last Christmas Eve) since 2004, after an absence of about 20yrs or so, well, on the beeb at least.

At the beginning of the story, Sylvia Sims says "I remember reading a story called "The Monkey's Paw"" and she then explains what happens, so at least the original story is acknowledged.

Carmel - just checked my files - I have VAULT OF HORROR but not TALES FROM THE CRYPT which I am guessing my son borrowed it and it is probably still in his bedroom along with about 1000 empty pizza boxes, empty cans, plates, glasses - and a Japanese soldier who is not yet aware that the war is over!!!
