can anybody remember a documentry about dowsing and ley lines made in the seventies or early eighties? i seen it a couple of times on channel 4 in the late eighties on a saturday afternoon. it was filmed in cornwall and devon and possibly even london. the main thing i remember is two or three men standing in a busy street holding 2 rods and watching them point in a certain direction and following them. one of them might have had really big hair and a beard but i'm not sure. i've been curious to find out what it was for years and hopefully somebody can help me! i'm sure it exists and i'm not cracking up!

i've seen clips of this on other like minded yet more recent shows-the bloke with the big red hair sounds familiar,so i don't think you were dreaming!

I don't think you have been dreaming as this subject does come up on TV now and then. I recall a couple of documentaries on this subject. However I can't be as specific about who was in them. I do recall one were someone went into a field and said that there was water running under the field like a stream and that is where the farmer should drill and the dowser was right.
