I believe the film dates circa 1972-1973.

Synopsis: A man finds his father dead (I think he's been run over) and vows to take revenge on the guy who did it. He finds the guy responsible for it in a pub, follows him out and murders him with a crowbar.

Another thing to note is near the end, he's driving and narrowly avoids getting hit by another car/truck, and says something to the effect of 'If I can get away with that, I can get away with anything' - he gets away with the vengeance murder.

I'm sorry if this is incredibly vague, but it's all I know of the film and my Dad is dying to remember the name of it, as it's him who has seen it and relayed the info to me.

Thanks for any replies.

Top film, Nicol Williamson at the top of his game, and the ZDD print is very good.
