Question Answered: The Snorkel *solved*

Can anyone help with an early 60's horror/thriller. A woman is being terrorised by an unknown man. I believe its set in south of France and ends with the woman driving away while the villain has been trapped in a hiding place after a wardrobe has been moved over the trap door leaving him to starve to death. The villiain could be Ronald Lewis or someone like him ( A Jimmy Sangster film ?)

I really wish somebody would release these Hammer b's on R2 then I can finally enjoy a decent print of The Snorkel, COD, Yesterday's Enemy etc.

I picked up a copy of The Snorkel the other day. I had not seen it before, a great film!
