Answered: The Third Alibi *solved*
I'm not sure if you can help, but I'll give it a try. I'm desperately trying to find out the title of a movie I saw as a teenager.(It was a black & white movie and probably made in the 50s or 60s.) All I remember of the story is that a murder has been commited in a small English village and the man accused of the crime has one chance to get off: Apparently there had been a man sitting on a hill overlooking the village who could provide the 'guilty' man with an alibi. However, it turns out that this man is blind and, although he 'witnessed' the crime, he never 'saw' it and therefore couldn't vouch for the accused man.(I also remember that the man on the hill lived there in a caravan.) Please help put me out of my misery. Any idea?
