I have been searching for a film for a while now, but am having no luck. I thought some of you may be able to help. Its a tall order but here goes...
When I was very young (about 1975) I saw a british B&W sci fi film about an alien invasion. All I can remember is that aliens invaded and that a village in the English coutryside was taken over. I vividly remember a scene of an alien carrying out a woman out in his arms from (what I remember as) gym? or a sports hall?? Bizzarely that is all I can remember, but I am desperate to find it! Even if anyone coudl give me a kink to a definitve list of all our British sci films from the 60's and 70's? Then I could have a sift through that. You never know, one of you may know exactly what Im mean from that very brief scene! Keepin me fingers crossed! cheers loz Brighton |

Could be The Earth Dies Screaming as it's in b/w and there's a sports hall involved.
These are the alien robots...

The Earth Dies Screaming was shot not far from me in Shere (Surrey) which has often been used a film location in the likes of The Ruling Class, Bullseye! and recently The Holiday.
