I remember watching a film back in the late 70's about 2 lads ( one of which worked in a funeral palour ). The story goes that the lads rob a bank and hide the money in a casket. The body from which keeps turning up in all manner of places.

To make matters worse a sadastic copper is hot on the lads tail. Its a comedy only I have no idea who else starred in it ( although I believe Lionel Jeffreys was in it ) .

Its a colour film as far as i can remember and the only other bits which spring to mind is the lad that works in the funeral parlour drives a hearse ( perks of the job ) and collects girls underwear.

Any clues would be greatly appreciated

It sounds like the movie version of Joe Orton's LOOT. It was made around 1970 and stars (I think) Richard Attenborough as the copper.
