Default Answered: The Long Arm (1956)

Can anybody remember a film i think from the 40's where a detective is trying to track a safecracker ..does an appeal during which he he says "now listen here chummy we are out to get you"..its driving me crazy...

I also wondered The Safecracker (1958) - Ray Milland is a convicted safebreaker who is let out of prison to do a job for the government in the Second Word War.
