Default Unanswered: Father Came Too! *solved*
My second mystery film...

From what (little) I recall, this would be a British B/W film of about 1960. I can't remember much of the film at all, except part near the end. A couple are moving into a new house, and are having trouble with the wife's father, who is always interfering. In particular, he objects to the fuses that the workmen put into the electrics, and comes back later to put 'better' ones in. Result? The house burns down!

Thanks very much...having looked up the details of 'Father Came Too' I'm sure that's the one. I did have a vague inkling the Father was James Robertson-Justice, but I thought I'd already checked his films. Oh well...

You can find more details of the film at the IMDB if you search on James Robertson Justice. It was released around 1963.

Is this film available anywhere? I remember seeing it when I was very young and would like to see it again.
