Hello :)

I watched a great British (I believe it was British) movie a few years ago but I don't remember the title.
The story goes more or less like this. There is a group of friends. Among them are two brothers who play football (I think they were brothers). They hang out together, have their problems etc. One day, one of two brothers, jumps from a flyover (or a bridge, anyway - something like that) and... disappears.
It tourns out later that he fell down on a truck that took him on its roof. His brother tries to figure out what happened. His the only one who does not want to believe his brother is just gone. Even a girl that the guy left does not care. So he starts his own investigation. One day, a brother who disappeard calls the other one from Stockholm, Sweden. The guy sounds really happy and he does not want anybody to look for him. When he goes there, the missing brother is not in Stockholm any more. So he follows every trace the guy left and finally finds him in a tiny village in Finland. But he finds him only to hear that he is now much happier and does not want to come back.

I watched it a few years ago so I may be wrong about some details.

It's called..."The Disappearance Of Finbar" (1996)

Directed by Sue Clayton, it starred Luke Griffin ("Borstal Boy","Band Of Brothers") as Danny and Jonathan Rhys-Meyers ("Gormanghast","Bend It Like Beckham") as his friend Finbar.
