OK I think this is a toughie...during the very strange 1949 film 'Helter Skelter' a young Harry Secombe projects the end of a silent film which runs on screen for a few minutes. According to Halliwells this insert is a Walter Forde silent short but it is unnamed. Some of the shots are 'IDENTICAL' set-ups to shots used in the later 'Bulldog Jack' (both films feature chases on the London Underground)...does anybody know what this film is called and whether it survives in full???

'Would You Believe It' (GB 28) written, directed & starring Walter Forde
(director of 'Bulldog Jack') - haven't checked, but I seem to think the Nat Film
Archive should have a complete print.
