Default Unanswered: Ken Baily England Mascot

About 10 years ago I attended a student and short film festival and there saw a documentary on Ken Baily.

Ken was England's self-appointed unofficial mascot who would attend sporting events dressed as John Bull but had already tasted fame as he had carried the torch in the 1948 Olympics and was in the Guinness Book of Records for running the most recorded miles.

I think the documentary was about 40 minutes long and used a lot of archive film footage including -if memory serves - a colour newsreel of Ken running the decks of the QE2 in the 1940s.

Does anyone happen to know what this film was called? A search of the web has yielded nothing and I'd love to see this again.

Don't know anything about the documentary, I'm afraid, but the following link fills in some extra info about Ken Baily:

er...pedants corner It couldn't have been the QE2 - it wasn't launched until 1967

Queen Elizabeth perhaps?

Was Ken Baily the chap that was always at England soccer games?
