I think I saw this only once on TV. It is set in
an English new town (I think), date around 1966/7.

A man is killing young women, he is a bus-conductor and selects his victims from among his passengers. He has a creepy habit of whistling a spooky tune. Any ideas?

I have a copy sourced from Japanese Cable TV. The film has never had a video release anywhere in the world AFAIK.

Thanks for that information. I can now easily see Simon Ward eyeing up his passengers.

Sounds like a creepy take off of "M".
