British Vampire Romance

Does anyone know the name of the British vampire romance where a vampire falls in love with a mortal and they have to deal with their relationship. It is an older movie that I saw a long time ago. If you know the title, please help.

The only one I know like that is Jose Larraz's film Vampyres (1974) when one of the two women vampires (Marianne Morris) keeps one of their male victims alive, and sleeps with him every night, content to feast on his blood from a deep cut on his forearm. Her fellow female vampire and lover (Anulka) carries on butchering other victims, who are hapless motorists enticed back to the girls' creepy house after stopping to pick them up hitch-hiking along the country lanes near by.



I've got a copy on VHS somewhere, and it was regarded as a bit of a cult classic and filmed in Britain with all Britsih actors.

TALE OF A VAMPIRE seems a good choice, but much depends on age.

I was about to suggest that. Brilliant movie and a great title. Unfortunately, on DVD its only known as 'Immortality' which is a poor title. I have a copy, and have to mourn that it hasn't got the good title on its cover... actually really bothers me because I think 'The Wisdom of Crocodiles' is a terrific title replaced by a mediochre USA one.
