Could be the Mike Figgis version of 'Miss Julie' with Saffron Burrows and Peter Mullan.

Considering what i am looking for,i have little in the way of information to be of any help.
I am looking for a film that was shown on BBC 2 earlier this year and i was wondering how i should go about it.
I dont know the title of the film [obviously],or even the leading actor/actress.All i can remember is that it was a period film about a butler and a lady [i'm thinking it was a Lords daughter],who end up getting involved.I cannot remember the period it was set,it could be either Victorian or Edwardian. It was screened around theSpring/ Summer on BBC 2 ,if i were to guess,i would say it was made in the late 1990's.The Film was in colour.
A few other bits from the film [again not much help though] - The leading actress sat out in the gardens for a good part of the first 30 minutes of the film. The Butler [mid 40's] spent a lot of time in the kitchen with an older lady, which was either his wife or the cook.
The first 45 minutes was shot in the gardens/kitchen,and not much was shot on location.
If anyone can help on the information i have given, then you deserve an award.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
