    50'S or 60's film set in an urban area - possibly London? Two young friends, 1 black the other white, both male, want adventure and so run away to Liverpool ("Liverpool, Liverpool, Liverpool" the danced and sang when they decided to go). However they get in trouble with the law - much racial discrimination ensues but in the end they are allowed to go free - does anyone remember the title or anything else about this film? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!

    Erm one summer had two lads on the run to Wales from Liverpool.

    And a black and a white lad were in the tv show Prospects.

    Isn't this the same film gweimui was looking for (thread "Can anyone help me identify this film"?), and has just been identified by DB7 as "Sapphire", 1959?
