Hi all, first time here came across this site while trying to get information on the colditz series that was shown on tv, seems like a lot of people are willing to purchase these on dvd but as of yet to no avail. i myself am one of these people. I have also been trying to get some information on a program, i think early 70s late 60s about a young boy watching an old man build a car ( think french dont know why ). think it was on in the afternoons on bbc2 seemed to be on everyday to fill time. Yes i could have been dreaming but any help would be really appreciated. thank you all. boschman

Hi - sounds like Home Made Car which was used as one of the colour trade test transmissions and repeated frequently. If so it would not be French but very English! There's stuff elsewhere on the forum about it.

many thanks for the information i will check that up, it sounds like you have put me on the right track as the program was repeated a lot and i think i watched it every time it was on, but hay thats the good old days. thanks again. boschman
